  • Anyone fly in dundee/Fife?

    Hiya,

Been looking for a club in Dundee/Fife it would seen that heli flyers are not the flavour of the month up here

I am starting out again and need some help, I have a site I can fly at but nobody to help me or teach me. If you can help out get in touch. Many thanks.

      Hiya,

Not at the moment but I plan to buy one soon. I have a Twister FP which I fly in my lounge.

Its kind of frustrating as the two clubs local to me want nothing to do with helis, something to do with safety. Maybe the best way forward is to fly on my own, prctise with a sim and travel to a heli school every so often for professional lessions etc.

Don't get 'em started on clubs, before you know it this post will be 4 pages long!!

Get a copy of RealFlight G3 (comes with controller) or Reflex XTR (need to buy compatable transmiter) - The sim does help, not just at the learning to hover stage but all the way through.

I had a tough job finding a club but keep tryin and you'll find one.

I take it you were/are a jumper - where abouts?

          Hiya,

I jumped all over the place, I learned in the Military in Germany and have jumped worldwide. I am taking a break from it hence the reason to fly Helis again 8)
