Problem with Walkera 22E

First of all hello to all and thanks for letting me join.
I am a complete newbie to all of this and dont know any of the "lingo" so please forgive me for keeping this simple.
I have just got my first RC Helicopter, a Walkera 22E and after reading the instructions and setting the helicopter up to the best of my ability it seems to struggle to lift off the ground. I've had a bit of a fiddle with the trim switches and have sorted out most of the sideways movement but it still tips backwards and doesn't lift.
Sorry if this is a common problem and you have answered it before.

Dont answer that, i fiddled some more and worked it out but crashed into my dining room chair, snapped the end off one of my rotor blades and some sort of link (could be a flybar connector link) has snapped so i'm out of action til i get a spare.

Hey folks.
Still havin big problems gettin my walkera to fly, it just doesn't wanna lift off the ground but when it finally does it is very unstable and seems to lose power.
Any tips/ advise will be great.

paul has the battery had a full charge
if it tilts back put in a bit of forward on the stick this ma help
