Hello everyone,
I'm another newbie with silly question to clutter up this forum - please forgive me!
I turned 21 recently and came into a little bit of money. Being a student I know if I don't spend it on something, I'll spend it all a tenner at a time down the pub. I've always been interested in the RC heli world, and now I'd like to take some tentative steps to learning more!
I've decided I want to purchase a RTF electric helicopter. Two models have caught my eye - the Honeybee CP2 and the Dragonfly 35. I'm split as to which would be the better purchase and would love some advice.
Furthermore, am I being excessively ambitious by wanting to get started with a CP model? I intend on getting a sim (probably FMS) working once I've got the RC that ships with the RTF models and getting lots of hours on that before progressing to actually flying the model for real. I will also have access to a HUGE indoor area in the form of a hanger at the RAF base where I live.
Thank you all!
Ed
