Can't believe I've just read that about my flying. Do you reckon I might really be improving

Spending more on spares than ever but I put that down to "exploring the flight envelope" in the garage. Trouble is the walls are just as hard as when I began.

Improving, absolutely and without even knowing.............

Bugster, I'm no expert but I really have to fly my Buzz every day!!!! As it's the holiday period I've just taken delivery of six new motors from Terence so I know I wont get caught short and not able to fly for one reason or another!!!!

Now that's not only addiction but obsession!!!

As Ade says if you own one I'm sure it's the most flown in your fleet............mine is by far...
      Cheers Eddie

          Bugster,

When I mentioned W43, I was using the generic term including all variants, inc the Buzzfly. Buy whichever is the latest and greatest, but I have a W43, I don't even think its an A version, but it does have 2.4GHz radio which is essential in such a small craft (IMO anyway)!

I reckon I fly mine not more, but at least as much as any other heli I own. Its easy because you can pick when to fly, its always flying weather indoors with a W43!

Your flying will improve even though you won't notice it, the crashes will eventually get fewer and far between. That said, everyone has off days, but don't let the occasional dumb-thumbs moments put you off practicing.

Please understand that I am no expert, I just have lots of heli experience, but I have been complemented on my flying several times before and usually asked how long does it take to get to that stage? My answer is usually 'it depends how much practice you have'. The W43 is all about getting that experience through lots of stick time, IMO.

          Sorry for the long post!
          regards

          Pip

Hey, where d'you learn to fly? I saw you shoot your rocket
          up.............. into the sky.

Hey, I heard you set the pace, I never thought I'd see you back................ in this old place!

I have been looking at the Buzz flyer and the Walkera, I am moving towards the latter as for £85 I can get the Walkera 43B 2.4GHz with the CNC head upgrade.

I didn't know if it was worth going for the 3d version, it doesn't have the CNC parts though.

What is the difference controls wise between the two, I want to ensure I have a replica of my Belt CP for practice, apart from flying upside down of course, I have to learn hovering first.

Are the right and left control sticks on the remote exactly the same function on both ?

              Si,

The 3d version will be collective pitch, I wouldn't recommend it though, go for the fixed pitch version, it will be much more rugged and you will get longer playtime between breakages, if you have any that is?

Thanks for that, I would prefer the CNC head version, so that works for me.

Are the controls for both sticks on my Belt-CP the same as the 4 channel Walkera ?

Also, I have reversed the rudder control for my Belt-CP, can this be done on the Walkera too ? I do prefer "left" meaning "left" ;o)

Yes they should be the same as Belt cp (if it's mode 2 throttle left)and I've just checked my 4#3B Tx and there are reversing switches under a plate on the back so I guess you can set it how you like .
