  • Twister FP,Piccolo FP or Hummingbird V3 FP?

Hello lads,im between these three heli's.Which one would you suggest and why ?They are all in the same price range.Probably i will need to upgrade to CP later,is that easy to do,and what kind of electronics should i buy in order not to have to buy a lot of stuff when i decide to upgrade?
Im a complete beginner, with an Hitec Optic 6 tx,and the aerofly pro deluxe.
    Cheers

    Hi
    You wont like this.....

    Avoid all 3.

Save up more money indoor heli the best is probably the T-rex.

Those 3 your after will not get you very far and cause you more
hassle than you will know. upgrade router is throwing away money
espically on these type of models.

Get at least a CP version now something like a twister 3D min.
Make sure it has a BELT driven tail as well. As motor powered tail
indoor helis are just a nightmare.

also, where are you planning on flying this model? If you want something to fly at home inside then non of those are going to suit your needs. Also they are so small that they wont fly out doors in anything but flat calm conditions.

if you want an indoor model the hirobo lama XRB SR is an excellent machine. Very reliable and difficult to do any real damage to. However they will not fly outdoors unless its completly calm.

If you want something for outdoors then the T-rex is a pretty good machine but to kit one out properly you are going to need to spend proper money on it.

The problem is that to kit a T-rex out your not far short of a raptor 30.

I know somebody with a t-rex that is wanting to sell it.

I have a twister CP v2 - it was 180 from Sussex Model Centre so just about within your reach.

I have only had it a week, but have almost got the hang of the hover in the lounge

Is there a belt drive conversion for the twister CP ?
Just how many hours stick-twiddling do you have to put in before you can justify buying the Breitling ?
