setting headspeed

hi guys

when setting your headspeed will the engine note stay the same through the different pitch settings as the head will be applying a load to the engine?

or do i have to watch and listen to the blades to set my headspeed the same?

i want to learn how to set proper pitch and throttle curves before i go and fit a govenor so i have a better understanding on how to set my heli up.

First rule... pitch curves should be straight line. Throttle curve adjusts speed.

The "note" will stay the same but the noise will change slightly just like it does in the car when you put your foot down at motorway speeds in a slow car.
