  • Is this any good ?

I don't know if it's been mentioned before but this looks interesting from a beginners point of view.

Does anybody have any experience with it? Is it any good?

Looks like a good idea, the only thing i would say is you dont get to see how the helicopters attitude changes in the air.
When i was having a lesson with Ade (quick plug www.flyingaid.co.uk) i was getting visual feedback from how the heli was moving around and for me i found that realy improtant as a clue for what the heli was going to do next.

also for the cost you could have a few lessons on a buddy lead so the heli is still safe

    Still a good idea though

I considered that sort of thing along with a Co-Pilot but by the time I had though about it I didn't need it anymore, you'll be amazed how quickly you loose the training gear.

Think about what happens if it runs into something and the castor stop 8O

IMHO not even as safe as training gear

You could make that yourself for a fiver rather than spending 80 odd.
