  • swapping the body of a comanche and a dauphin

I recieved a second hand co-comanche off ebay which came with a daulphin body.

I was going to have a go at swapping the bodys, it seems that i will have to turn the battery tray around to accomadate the wheels, which is fine, but then I also noticed that the rod that holds the motors etc to the body is not long enough to use on the daulphin kit. Does any body know where i could get a longer peice of rod, same thickness?

has anybody actually ever swapped the body of these 2 heli's before, can it actuually be done?

Also there is an LED on the back of the dauphin, any ideas how i can get this to work?

i'd be suprised if it doesn't fit as im sure the mechanics are the same. i use 2mm carbon rod from my lhs its stronger than the plastic rod supplied and only afew quid for 1metre.
if you fit the battery tray backwards check the balance with a battery fitted.(hang the heli by the flybar using cotton) you can use blutak in the nose or tail to get it right
