30% is approx the amount you would use on a non-goverened helicopter so its not a bad thing if you disable the gov.

remember that when you increase cyclic pitch it also loads up the rotor system just like collective pitch so that extra throttle is going to help keep the headspeed up even with the gov disabled.

Thanks for the info Ade. Think I will set the mix to a spare switch just in case... although I probably wont even notice it Your training pricing seem very reasonable as well... once the weather is better and its closer to my birthday I may well book up a few hours.
