I had one of these for a week or so but didn't get on with it very well, which was a pity because it looked great. I found that when I wound up the power one of the rotors would stop so there wasn't enough power to get airborne and even if there was it would spin out of control. The trick was to give it a flick of left or right rudder (can't remember which) and that got the second rotor spinning again. This meant that it tended to jump in to the air a bit rather than gently lift off but it was not a big problem.

I would definitely recommend you fit a lightweight training undercarriage and keep it indoors as it simply doesn't handle any wind at all. If you are about to hit an object stop the throttle immediately because the 2 drive cogs are really, really, flimsy and the teeth will go in an instant. If you have to replace them ensure that there is a bit of play between them otherwise they can rub togther in flight and degrade performance or even stop take-off altogether.

      Good luck.

Si, sounds more like a probelm with your kit as opposed to the design I hope. I have been told by several people this is a good kit like the CX2 but unlike the CX2 the blades should be more durable in crashes as they fold back or something.

All true, but the bit about needing a kick of rudder has been experienced by others. The bit about the main gears rubbing together a bit came to my attention after I sent it back. Don't be put off, I know plenty of people who get on really well with them, just be aware of the individual traits of this heli.
