  • Blade tightness?

    Hi guys,
I have a mini titan, and wondered if anyone can tell me how tight the main and tail rotor blades should be in the grips?
    Cheers.

tight enough so when you hold the heli on its side and give a shake the blades will move. thats the main blades the tail not so sure how tight they should be but i can move them by hand easily.....

the main blades should be tight enough that if you hold the heli on its side the will stay out but give it a shake & they will fold in.

I always have em as what other people have said in the thread,

but if your a beginner i suggest doing them a bit tighter, not tight tight, just a bit firmer so it gives it a bit more support when you do a hard landing

as for the tail blades i have them so that when you spool up and spool down there tight enough so that once they stop the tail blades are still straightened out and not folded, but are loose enough so that a light flick or tap will make them fold

              hope this helps

Thanks guys. Will very bad things happen if i spool up the heli with the blades too tight/loose?!

I set my tail blades loose enough that they will open out properly when i start spooling up. Not entirely sure how tight they actually are tbh but its never been a problem!

Not sure what would happen, but my guess is that

If there too loose, you run the risk of blade fold and there for your heli crashing,

if there too tight, it would probably fly like a brick,

but please correct me if im wrong
