Help receiver troubles

Have just bought a hitec electron six dual con receiver and as i connect the battery the servos and motor react but when the plug is fully home i have nothing on the transmitter(ff7).The crystals are the right way and are dual con,the the tranny is set to ppm and as far as i can see every thing is right just not alot happening have i missed something ?.


P.S zoom 400 standard motor.

Hi chappers,both crystals are 34.990 /ch59 have just tried the receiver with the basic fm tranny i got with the zoom and still no response.

def. got tx crystal in tx and rx crystal in rx?
how about servo plugs in rx? are they upside down?

Do you have dual conversion crystal in the radio? If so try putting a normal crystal in it. I don't think the radio should have a dual in it.

spot on ade futaba xtals in hitec receiver is a no go, i thought all xtals would work in all radio and receivers as long as you get your tx&rx right and dual and singles right but it seems to use hitec receivers you need hitec xtals. Anyway all things working as should so thanks for your input guys no doubt will be back soon with more problems to solve .
