  • Cheaper supplier for DF36 main blades

This may sound really cheap but anyway...

In setting up my DF36 (now nice) and learning to hover I seem to be going through main blades at a surprising rate. Does anybody know a place where they're cheaper than 6.99 for the standard foam blades?

See I told you I was cheap (but I am a student)!

By the way what the hell is a DF36 anyway?

There are just too many clones and clones of clones now

DF36 is i think a Walkera. Cheap as chips and they seem to be really popular over the pond.

Yeah Butuz is right, it's a Walkera Dragonfly #36. Zoom 400 clone with belt-drive tail. I know they're not the greatest heli in the world but I got mine at such a good price I couldn't say no even though I was angling for a better model. I got mine full with brushless motor, ESC and li-po for a little over the cost of the kit only version!

The only thing I've bought for it so far is a new li-po charger as the one supplied is supposedly downright dangerous.

Thing with these birds is they're supposed to come set-up RTF out of the box but this couldn't be further from reality. They've a bad reputation as people expect to be able to buy it and fly it right away (even rank amateurs). Having done my research I was expecting trouble with mine and true enough out of the box it looked more like a washing machine than a helicopter it vibrated so much! After some careful set-up it's now stable and I'm getting to the learning to hover stage.
