help needed for Dragonfly 36

I recently purchased a dragon 36 from China. Can someone please tell me if the blades will turn whenever the lipo battery is not fully charged(when i say not charged it is brand new although i have tested it and it is outputing 12v) Also I am unsure as to how long to charge the battery as there are no instructions. I notice that when i attach the battery the servos are all moving however blades are not turning....Is this normal.Could there be something I am not doing.

12V is near full charge on a 3 cell lipo (12.4 full)

Usually the lipos take between 1 - 1.5hrs when charge at one times its capacity ie 1500mah Lipo charget at 1.5A

Can't be much more help than that without acutally seeing the heli in question

thanks for the suggestion. My heli is a brushless 36 whenever i connect the battery the servos all move, occassionally the blades move about an inch after this nothing when full throttle is appied(except to move servos). I have noticed that on the rx on heli that no5 slot is free and that coming out of side is a wire (pink and white) with a square 2 pin adapter on end that is connected to nothing, also 2 wires coming out of rx black and red that have been cut just as they leave the box, the wires from the battery to motor seem to be connected to some sort of capicitor/transformer/board about an inch long and well insulated not sure what it is but they leave this and go straight to motor.
