  • Would 325mm Blades fit on Belt CP

    Hey All,

Just about to order some more blades for a bit of stock incase i crash

currently the Belt CP uses 315mm Blades but i can get 2 sets of 325mm blades cheaper then getting 2 sets of 315s

so Would 325mm blades fit and work fine in the Belt CP

or is it a tad too big?

    Regards
    Callum

No Problems mate, funnily enough I prefer the 315's to 325's.

Sold some 325s to backroslea and he hasn't asked for his money back yet, so I reckon they are okay. From my experience putting 315s on a MiniPred that should take 300s or 305s, I can say that I prefer this set up too.

Your choice, matey. I got some lovely glass fibre 325s from ebay for £9 posted and I also got 2 pairs of wooden 315s also for £9 posted. They were both excellent and both would fit a Belt CP. So it's really just down to your choice and whether you feel that a blade strike is imminent or not: if you're confident in your flying go for the GF version.

It's basically down to a personal choice mate, this week I've done some testing with a pair of 325's and 315's on my T450, and I prefer the 315's now I fly a bit more nuttier then I used to.

TBH I can't put my finger on it, I just seem to have more fun when fitted out with 315's

I would guess being a tad longer the 325's are more stable, but as I say it's something I found after having many, many hours real flying.

If you're fitting Align blades (or those cheap fibreglass 325's from Hong Kong (which I've found fine by the way)), you'll find they are thinner at the headstock. Just add a 3.2mm rivet washer to pack it out. Works for both the plastic head and the metal one

There is a whole thread about the pros and cons of fitting 1 or two washers, I personally fit one above and one below....
