  • It flies !!!

Flew my twister 3d this morning for the first time after a discussion with the gyro

What a difference in control over a fp, so precise and sharp.
I've just got to get used to not dumping the throttle, but I do like the way the - pitch nails it to the ground once it's down.
I think the fact that I've been flying a little walkera 4#3b has helped me get used to the quicker response.

    I'm gonna enjoy this heli.

    Cheers,

    Dave.

Is it the CP Gold if so in normal mode set the pitch 50, 50, 50, 65, 75 this then will soften it nicely and perfect landing every time and you still have a good performing power.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Great news Dave, it's always uplifting reading a post where everything just clicks together nicely.

The pitch settings above will tam her nicely regarding the boost in power you now have, compared to your smaller FP machine.

        Hi Jim,

No it's just the plain twister 3d.
I have 35 43 50 75 100 at the moment as recommended by boggy in the blade forum.
How will the heli handle differently with the settings you suggest ?.

        Cheers,

        Dave.

you can still use the settings but may need to up top end slightly.
These setting will reduce the negative pitch thats not really needed in normal mode and if reducing + pitch will allow higher head speed and be more stable and in certain wind condtions

            Nice one Dave
As I've said before(!), CP is a big step up but well worth the effort!
