  • Problem with my LAMA xrb

Ive been learning on a Lama XRB for this past two weeks and have concluded that there is a problem. When Im flying the Lama there is a sudden cut off and the heli just drops. The batteries are all new or charged and it can happen multiple time in a single charge. I spoke to the guy that sold it to me and he said that he had never heard of it! and that I should just send it off to ripmax! (so much for customer service after spending 250.00 2 weeks ago) I looked ripmax up on the internet and spoke to customer services and they said to send it over as they have never come across this problem before (they were very nice) HAS ANYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM? LET ME KNOW

Your "contract" is with the shop you bought it from not Ripmax. Its their responsibility to sort it. How they sort it is up to them.

Yes Ade I agree with what you said regarding the model shop. I to am in business and if i told a customer to send a product back to the manufacturer i may as well give up as my customer service would be none existant. I was that annoyed with the guy that i didnt even say anything. I bought local because i was under the impression that if something went wrong he would look after it. I was wrong! The good news is that an order for a complete Raptor kit has gone to someone else who has assured me that they have V good customer service and i have spoken to several people in the local club who couldn't beleive it and have decided not to buy from this shop.. Anyway all water under the Bridge. The technical guy at Ripmax was extremly helpfull and after checking for loose wires I posted it off to them at a cost of 8.50. He even said that the damage caused by the cut off and drop would be repaired as a gesture of goodwill. Now that is customer service

A few Model Shops just don't want to know after they have your money!
