Just bought Reflex

Gone out in my lunch hour and bought Reflex XTR, 120. Never thought I'd pay that for software. Hope it helps me learn to fly.....

Even when you fly Raptor 50's, 120 is only one medium crash , blades alone are 40 and that's cheapo carbons

But I was talking nexus crashes with wood blades.

Won't cost me anything if I crash it again - can't get the bits anyhow.

Got mine yesterday lunchtime. it is soooo much better than what I was using before.

It wouldn't run on my work machine, it kept giving me the blue-screen of death, but it's fine on my laptop, (both machines have win xp pro), which is a relief!

The great thing about my transmitter is that if it is turned on, it doesn't work, amazing! battery life and RF interference not a problem! rock on.

Took me a little while to work out which channel was which, without my instructions, but got there in the end!

How long does it take for the average 24 yr old to learn to hover in a stable fashion on a simulator like ours?

one thing I have noticed is that it varies massivly. It is partly age dependant but it changes a lot from person to person too.

I downloaded FMS to see what all the fuss is about. And its rubbish. I can fly the heli on the keyboard. Im sorry but that is not a "simulator" that is an acrade game.

I really hope the proper expensive "simulators" are much much harder otherwise you just wasted a load of money!
