the belt stretches quickly so need the tension adjusting regular..the front pulley rounds the teeth off regular too..the bearing along the way suffer with all this.when you tension the belt your tail trim goes off trim..nothing wrong with belt just the align system..that why the pro has a tube(its better)
we spent a fortune of belts/pulleys and bearings not good)
you could hear lots of funny noises from the belt system after a short run
      cheers craig

Nothing wrong with the 600n belt driven tail
          Here's an old vid...

          [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ystnX_w88cQ[/ame]

I seem to recall the flight after that one, the tail made contact with the floor in some low tic tocs, but survived!

          Cheers,

we was a little hard on the sport,,but we used a belt system on the knight 3d and raptor 50/rjx exteme 50/sceadu 50/ and the only belt ive purchased are the trex 600n belts..and i purchased my belts/pulleys etc off real raptors and got fed up of it then purchased a tube drive like andy adviced
            cheers craig simmons

suppose mine has never been taken to the limits like yours craig so i expect you would find more issues, and to be fair i now use my super pro for the 3D stuff anyway

Having read this thread I'm feeling really depressed now having just bought a 600 Sport. As a 'newb' I was advised that it would be better to go with the belt drive as it would be less financially damaging when I crashed it and that I wouldn't benefit from the Pro or Super Pro for some time to come.
Although mine was 2nd hand my decision was based more on the advice I was given than the price, oh well too late now as it's sitting in my garage.

True, it's not a car but it doesn't have lights and it's dark outside, I crash enough in daylight so god knows what I'd be like in the dark!!!
