TREX 450XL CCPM HELP PLEASE

I have finished putting my trex 450xl together. I am having issues getting the heli off of the ground, When I apply power all of the way to max the heli will not try to even lift off the ground. The blades are turning Clockwise with the long edge of the blades leading the way. I have followed every thing in the directions to the T and also followed a DVD to recheck it. I am very frustrated and what this issue could be. One other thing I noticed is that at full power the air seems to be blowing upwards.
And the moter trys to cut off when the throttle stick reaches the top of the remote. Please offer any advice.

sounds like it could be the battery.

where abouts are you? Helis are pretty complex and it will save you a lot of time, effort and probably money if you get somebody with some experience to set it up and trim it out for you.

I am thinking it may be in the pitch. I am in the process of adding the corect pitches.

Sounds like you may have the pitch reversed.


Plus I'd echo what Ade just said if you've not built one before get it checked by someone who knows before you attemt to lift off. Helis bite...HARD 8O

after a re-read of the post it does indeed sound like the pitch is reversed or miles out.

what do you mean about "motor tries to cut out" do you mean the headspeed is slowing down?
