  • very sensitive twister.

today it didnt seem windy where i was so i decided to fly mytwister coastguard ( with cx2 canopy ) outside...

...big mistake. i noticed the day before that my left , right , forward and backward controls were VERY sensitive.

i checked the servos and i had not moved the push lever to a more sensitive steeing . when it flies though it looks like the top rotor is moving aswell. plus my main shaft is about 3 mm too big . will this make a difference?

i have ordered some spares from hobby hangar and they should come next week - morocco on friday though . cannot wait .

what do you mean by 3mm too big josh? can you lift it up and down by 3mm if so the collar under the swash plate has come loose

is your flybar straight and loose this could be causing the twitchyness( ive just read your other post so its obviously not straight! )

yeah , the flybar is just simply dead . it is sliding up and down by about 3 mm . i didnt think i should worry about this . the inner shaft has been going up and down ever since i got the alloy upgrades. i checked the servo pushbars and they all seem fine . it just seems to go like the whole way over a bit like a 3d heli but with an electronic limiter... it will go about 55 degrees over. it was really annoying cos i got it stuck in a tree and spun the rotors to get it down. big mitake no. 2 . that stripped the gears. i was contimplating using a fishing pole to get it down. i really wanna know whats up with my heli...

        Thanks Ron
I've had a look and you're right, the collar below the swash is loose. Josh stripped both gears in the crash so I'll be ordering some bits tomorrow! I was out at the time taxi driving for Holly (daughter)...

have you got the ally flybar carrier? if so is the cap still in the top? the bar lifting like that will almost certainly be the cause of your problems dude!
