Just put this video on Youtube showing my learning curve. It's 6 minutes long and the wife says it's boring so I hope that means some will enjoy it

Good on ya mate! Perserverance will get you there everytime and, after just 7 weeks being able to slow 360's is pretty good going.

Had me in stiches for the first min or so.. Buuuuzzzzzzzzzz THUMP... Buuuuuzzzzzzzz THUMP.. That was just great!

Now you really have the bug, it wont be long until you are on to bigger and better Heli's!!

If the wife thinks its boring now... wait till she sees the bank balance in 18 months time!! That will make her take a more keen interest!!

Thanks guys. What I didn't say in the vid was the HBFP inspired me to get my Neon Blaze out of it's box again this afternoon and I put 4 batteries through it on the back lawn. Amazingly crisp and easier to fly outside than the HBFP is inside. Couldn't believe I was flying a proper CP for 10 minutes at a time - it even made me look good

            I love this hobby !!

Well, for someone that has only been flying for 7 weeks you are doing great.
                No really!
Having owned a couple of HB myself i can tell you that they are nowhere near as easy to fly as the Trex's I have now nor even a 450 class model.
You have already mastered a lot of manouvers that can take other people months or even years to develop. You must be a natural.
It won't be long before you will be 3Ding with the best of them.

Thanks machasm. Confess if I think about 3D I have to take one of my little pink pills and lie down for an hour to let the palpitations stop

I was impressed after only 7 weeks to be able to do those slow circles/pirouettes fantastic, I know a few pilots that attempt to fly sport/3d that would really struggle doing that especially in such a confined area. well done keep up the good work
                    All the best

Very impressed for 7 weeks flying mate.

Just wait until that T-Rex 600n comes along, It won't take 7 weeks for you to roll and flip that..

Very well done mate, that's some great flying. It's took me a lot longer than 7 weeks believe me.

Oh, and if your wife thinks that's boring she better not watch any of mine... LOL

That is really excellent progress in just 7 weeks. And to think you never even had training skids on to start with. Well done

I started with a Honey Bee CP2 in the workshop and still love it after 7 months

Nice one mate good after 7 weeks, and those fixed pitch helis are not the easiest things to learn on for sure
defo time to move up mate to something more capable to learn outside with, the neon blaze should be alright for a bit but i bet it won't take you long to outgrow that and then you need to look at a proper kit heli, trex 500 an ideal next step after the neon, put it on your christmas list

Personally I think your wife was right it was really boring, I lost interest after the crashes stopped as I'm unfamiliar with a helicopter staying in the air that long. I haven't got past the buzzzzzzzz, thump stage yet, it's actually probably more of a buzzz, thump, I was exagerating the buzz side of my flying!!!
Seriously though well done, you've got it licked more than I have in less time, can I ask though that you put some crashing noise effects in with the next vid so I don't feel quite so incompetent
