I've just been paid unexpectedly by a client so want to have spares. I'll put these on and keep the current ones. Have a normal Align Gyro at the moment...would you recommend an upgrade before I fly or wait until I get it flying?

This cost me a fortune and I'm sick of looking at it in it's case

I'd get 5 it never hurts to have a spare, assuming you can afford to do it of course, get a couple of spare gearsets as well you will break gears at some point even if you are really careful...the ground bites hard ops: :cry:

Scuse my ignorance but gearsets ops: is this the main two or the tail drive also? ops:

I'm ordering stuff now and I have the main gears on order...shall I add the tail gear?

Don't metal gear servos have a "sacrificial" plastic gear in them to prevent damage to the motor etc. due to crashes etc... ? I believe all the standard size MG servos have this feature anyway...

Ended up getting 65s and HS50 for tail. Got the 401 also. Reckon I'll see what happens flying with what I've got on then put all my expensive stuff on after a couple of flights. In case of any mishaps. Cheers for all the advice. Also got 2 more batteries for longer fun. All I need now is for the snow to go
