RC Sysyems Minicopter V2.1 Error

Hi all,

Can you help me. Switch on TX with Throttle back.

Battery flight pack attached and charged to Heli, Servo pulse shortly.

after about 5-10 seconds, Red LED on Controller board flashed rapidly.

No response from servos, Heli Dead.

TX Batteries ok. Heli Battery OK, all checked with DVM.

HELP, Present for christmas

not familer with the model but this might help.

check the crystal frequencies. and that they are plugged in correctly.

with the dvm check that the servos are getting power.

do you have a spare 4.8v pack (or PSU) you can plug into the rx to see if that side of things is ok?

Duff Crystals

Naff Crystals. even through the frequency was identical for both TX and RX. Replaced. OK.

Is it not cuz the throttle is reversed and it is has a failsafe? Does the light continue to flash or is it just plain dead? Not familiar with that heli but an old electric hummingbird type heli i had did the same thing. It turned out the switch on the tranny had been flicked to reverse the throttle. For some reason because it was from start up it disabled all the servos.
