Reflex XTR and JR X2610 Pitch Control!

Hi Guys,

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone is having a good time.

Anyway, I got the reflex xtr and JR x2610 for crimbo, and I'm been playing on it and it's brilliant! I'm trying to set my Tx up and I can seem to get control of the Pitch? Is the pitch set up done on the Tx rather than the sim? Please help.

No idea I'm afraid as I don't have either, so this post won't help at all sorry.

hi there geordie pilot,
i am using the sim with a futaba 9c but i imagine it is the same with any tx,
you can set the pitch by your tx or the sim, go to model parameters and check the box tx mixing pitch and throttle,set up your tx for all your flight modes,and then try it,a good idea is to run the sim in window mode and then you can check what pitch you have in any mode by looking at the bottom of the screen,but make sure you have checked display data in the modify simulator parameters,

is the transmitter in helicopter mode?

go to the servo monitor screen on the 2610 and make sure the pitch is moving as it should. Especially that the throttle and pitch work together on the left stick (assuming mode2)

now, centre the sticks up and calibrate the centre in xtr. make sure it says it has calibrated them all apart from maybe the gear channel (5)

sometimes Reflex's auto config of the controls doesnt work very well. Go to the assign channels screen and make sure the channels are assigned as the following;

1, throttle and autorotation
2, aileron
3, elevator
4, rudder
5, gyro sense
6, pitch

once thats done it should work.

Thanks for your advise, it's all working now but just need to fine tune the Throttle and pitch, is this done through the Throttle and pitch curve?

Also, when I select a different heli, other than the Kyosho Medium, I pitch or the throttle seem to be buggered up! Can't seem to lift the heli off the ground!!! Has this got anything to do with settin gup the Pitch and trottle curve?

you are better to untick the "use transmitter throttle curve" box so then its gov'd that saves messing with the throttle curve other than putting a V curve in idle up to keep it running at full negative and setting up throttle hold.

I use a modded raptor 50 tuning tweeked to fly like a 50 should I dont really play with other helis.
