    Hi,I was just wondering if there is anything i need to look out for when stripping and rebuilding my cp gold.I made the mistake of taking it out today and guess what....i crashed. it need a new set of skids,boom supports,and main gear .Wont be making that mistake again.Any advice would be welcome.

    Check the shafts - main shaft, feathering spindle and tail output shaft - to make sure none of them are bent - not even fractionally.

    If in doubt, replace them.
    Flybars can be bent straight if they're only dinked a little bit - otherwsie replace that too.

        The rod that fits in between the blade grips.

          when i go to rebuild the heli is there anything i need to do or do i just put it back together the same way i disassembled it.

            just make sure you use thread lock on any metal to metal threads

              thanks balders,
              when i was checking the feathering spindle i accidentaly bent two washers.will this affect it or can i put it back together with one less washer on either side of the rotor clamps.

                You will need to replace the washers if you cant flatten them!
