  • i need a bigger one

no smutty comments, i had a good afternoon flying on saturday practicing hovering left ,right and tail in moving from side to side ,flying away and bringing it back and at a good hight just in case it went wrong at least i would have time to correct same thing monday, wed, evening.then on thursday evening after a couple of bats the sun was going down i thought i would try and a small circut so i took it a bit further away but before i new it there was a dot in the distant i tried to bring it back slowly but it seemed to get further away in the end i noesed it into the ground so i came to the conclusion that i need a bigger one one that was easer to see with bright lights on.damage blades, landing skid ,canopy, bat and boom.

lol, practice practice practice, i suppose a bigger heli would be more helpful at long distant, you should of turned the heli around with the tail and then appy some forward stick but thats hard to do as a beginner,

if it was me, i would of ran after it lol, so i could see it in sight lol

To be honest mate you shouldnt be flying it that far away anyways its a micro heli at the end of the day. Not as so far you cant see the orientation of it anyways. Also this can still happen with a big heli too mind. Just because its bigger doesnt mean it cannot get away from you quick.

Bigger heli's are easier to fly, which might meen that you wont get into the predicament of it getting away from you quite so easily.

          It's all relevant though,
Even a 50 will get out of sight quickly because it travels so much faster.
The downside is that, the bigger they are, the more they generally cost to repair.

Just get as much practice as you can, and get as much sim time as possible.

callum i did think of that afterwards but running across an airfield with other flyers still flying would not be a good idea lol still it made me laugh i could just see myself head down tranny in hand and going tits up. filling out the health and safety report explaining how i got a heli stuck in my head
