Remote Glow Lead Issue ??

I went to start my raptor 30 and it wouldn't go,i found out the remote glow lead was defunct so i ordered a new one it arrived this morning installed it and nothing happened,the plug still glows when the glow starter is directly on it but via the lead nothing the only difference between the two is an earth lead which i have placed on an engine mount bolt

So my question to you is HELP

I'm pretty sure its a simple thing but i cant seem to find it

try earthing the glow lead from the bottom of the engine. i found it wasn't a very good connection on the engine mount
