I'm a member of LeicesterMAC and have to say it's a good club. They have a large clear field with a purpose built clubhouse with cooking facilities and his/hers toilets.

I travel about 40 miles to fly at the club.

Will probably get a blade 400 after reading various comments and doing a fair amount of research, plus a Pheonix Sim (to save crashes). However, I am sure there must be other people at that club with the same kit as you as it has fairly large heli following. Anyway hope to see you there one day.

Will probably sort myself out in the next week or two.

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Send the membership person an email, that's Simon, he might negotiate a "per visit" rate for you if you explain your situation. You should certainly organise a "visit" first anyway, to ensure you like it.

The membership cost is to cover the field rental from the Farmer !
