  • took them off tonight

went to the club tonight as this might be the driest day for a while and after one bat my mate said to take off the trainers as he thought i would fly better without them as i've only had about 15 bats through it since i've had my 450 i was a bit nervous but he was right i was hovering left and right pretty smoothly took it up high and back down flew it away and back it was even a bit breezy put another three bats and came away with a big smile on my face

Probably one of the big mile stones in the early stages of Heli Flying... Well done mate, keep up the practice and you'll be buzzing it around the field in no time.

        Another day, another milestone.
        Keep working at it.
A lot of this is overcoming the mental blocks we put up for ourselves.
If you can get over that then the rest comes easier.

i agree with you on that adrain the mental block was the safty net the trainers give you as its not the going up that costs but the landing

the chances of that at an empty flying field and a cold breeze are very unlikely lol
