  • Passed my A-Test (SAA Bronze)!

    Well this should really be my last post in the beginners section as today I passed my SAA Bronze (equivalent to BMFA A test) thanks to loads of help from the boys at Waterfoot Heli Club. I'm no threat to the 3d masters just yet but I'm well chuffed having finally gotten through my test!

      well done andy, glad to see you progressing. when you get your 600 going you will get there much quicker. anyways, no resting on laurels etc. get the sim on as you have a silver to get!

          well done mate
          i need to take mine again as i have been out of the game for ten years ,so just got the bug again ( FOOLISH ME )and it's apparent that bmfa have taken me off the records,
          so i will have to take it with my mate who is a bmfa chief examiner

                  Well done mate. It was good to see you & Jim passing your various tests. Me, im just glad to get some flights in today, its been a long time & i need to start pushing for my Bronze as well!!

                    Thanks everyone, I've been learning seriously since about November I guess although been playing about with helicopters for years now. Paul, I think I've a lot of practice to do before I do my Silver, although nose-in seems easier all the time...

                      Congrats Andy .... Always nice when you pass something that you want to achieve .... I keep getting bugged to take my A or B as m8e said I only need to learn 45degree controlled descent and top hat for the B ... I just like flying for flying tho so keep putting it off lol ....I also need to get my plane one passed as well .. But same again i aint too fussed lol .. Hope ya get ya Silver tho m8e and all the best for in the future
