Just been given a sanwa RD800. Is airtronics any good and is this transmitter any goog for uk use. Sorry i sound so thick.

do you mean RD8000? I dont have any experience with the 8000 but I have setup a few 6000 which I believe is pretty similar.
sooms to be a reasonable radio. It wont win any prizes for user friendlyness or for the feel of the gimbles but it is cheap and does the job.
The one to steer clear of is the 6000 sport it only has 3 point throttle curve which makes getting the head speed right through the pitch range impossible.
as long as it is between 34.950 and 35.300mhz it is legal for UK use.
