  • Walkera 36 spares and upgrades

Dear all, although I have been flying my Mille II and Raptor 60 for a couple of years now I will consider myself a beginner as I have just purchased a Walkera #36 on ebay. THe heli itself seems ok with brushless motor and Li-po, however the TX is garbage and I had to more or less fix the inards together properly myself. That aside, after hovering the thing, I broke one of the blade grip ball joints. As such my question is, does anyone know the best place to source spares in the uk or alternatively, do any of the aftermaket Ali upgrades fit the dragonfly (e.g Zoom400 T-rex etc?) Cheers, Paul

        Thanks for that.
I have a real Zoom thanks. And not very keen on Ebay - I think it's done more to turn people off this hobby than anything else.

I noticed an advert on eBay for Walkera spares, and the seller has his own website:

            http://www.blinktrading.co.uk/

Maybe no use at all, but worth a try?

Like G-Dave, I have my reservations about buying unseen items at auction - far better to have the backup of a good model shop, and maybe cheaper in the long run.

            Anyway, good luck!
            Ian.

If your still looking for a UK supplier for parts mate let me know. I stock most parts for the Dragonfly 36 and am UK based. Generally speaking the Heli's are great so I am sorry to hear of your troubles. Feel free to send me a PM or an email at stuart@simart.net

              Cheers

Blinktrading are fast and pretty decently priced afew parts are slightly different sizes though such as the main shaft and the unilateralism bearing (ive bought both and both were wrong)

if your going ali be a bit warey i bought the cnc lower and upper mixing arms and both were the wrong size again but i thing if you purchased the whole rotor head they would probably all fit perfectly
