First crash

Hi All.

finally managed to get the electric heli into the air this weekend.

And of course my fun ended with a crash resulting in a broken part.

So any advice where to buy bits from for a twister thingy.

also what is the purpose of the idle up switch. i haven't used it yet except by mistake when i put down the tranny on the grass and selected idle up.

this resulted in what can only be described as panic as i first thought it was a glitch and couldnt get to the heli to disconnect battery, turned off tranny and fortunately it stopped.

i tell you what it's feckin hard to fly these things in any kind of gentle breeze or restricted space ( still can't hover ).

looking forward to repairs and gettin out to a flying field soon.

HI there i pursume you have the cp version twister ? if so the idle up switch will keep the throttle at a certain point and not go below it so if its set at half throttle itll stay there and not go below even with your stick at low end but as you move your stick above half throttle itll go up the idea is you can maintain a good head speed in all pitch curves it also is used for inverted flight so when your at 6- pitch your throttle is still at halfway
