  • Kent pilots / flying sites ?

Not sure if this is the place to post but...

Are there any decent kent heli flying sites that people attend on here to go along to and have a meet up ?

I've been into helis for a while now and after spending £100's on an old ECO 8 and hardly ever getting it to hover I bought this little esky thing on eBay for a few quid and got into it stright away (wow what a difference).

I now fly a little Belt CP, mainly hovering at work break times in the big garage - great little heli, flys superb.

Also into fixed wing warbirds (and generally anything RC...and not RC for that matter) - so looking for a good club or site to attend.

    Cheers

Hi we are just outside Ashford.

        http://www.araclub.co.uk/Home%20Page.htm

We are a mixed plank & heli club, with Sunday mornings reserved for Heli's only. We have a growing number of heli pilots at variuos different skill levels. We have no real flying restrictions, if you have night blades etc you can even fly in the dark!

We also have an indoor club, which ideal for setting up and learning to hover small birds.

If you are interested send Jamiem a pm, he is our Heli Biatch

              Hi

Whereabouts are you? I belong to two clubs which cater for both fixed and heli's. Maidstone MFC and Barton's Point MFC in Sheerness. Both are friendly clubs and have quite a large heli membership although I think Barton's is almost full.
If you're into indoor, there a group of guys who fly at Cornwallis School off Heath Road in Maidstone. For info on this see Chris Swirl or Steve at Modelworld in Notcutts garden centre.

I'm out of it for the next few weeks with a broken ankle, but if you want more info send me a pm.

If you are free next Sat, bring the CP to Cornwallis School (6pm). A friend has offered to give me a lift there and I'll be happy to help with any advice on flying or setup.
