Hello everyone,
I have been bitten by the heli bug and having "flown" tiny indoor toyshop models with reasonable success I decided I needed to progress further. I have just taken a major major step up and treated myself to a Blade400 3D. WOW what a step up I am so much out of my depth. Off I go to the local club soon as for some expert tuition. My LHS has adjusted the DX6i for more novice settings and, thankfully, set the idle up switch the same as for hover settings to prevent really nasty accidents. Any further advice welcomed, think I need a Sim to practice on as I cannot make Blade lift off in my garden even with training gear fitted without falling over (the helicopter not me - ha ha). Accidents on a sim would seem much less costly. Looking forward to Wings & Wheels in North Weald at the weekend. Thanks for any advice.
