Hi folks, my god its been so long since i flew an rc helicopter, like 15 years. Anyway i never really progressed past fixed pitched heli flying with lots of crashes. I then bought a second hand Blade 400, it really intimidated me and soon after i gave up.
Well last month i had a urge to try again and have bought myself a Blade 230v2 RTF. I had my first hover with it yesterday in safe mode and i thought it was superb. I am wondering if there are any flyers in and around Hull that i could meet up with for a bit of training and practice. Its good to be back

Look at the BMFA website and join a club. It will be the best thing you have done (subject to covid regulations of course).

Thanks Mike, I have found a local club.. Do I need to register as an operator? Or is my 230 small enough not to require one?

If it's more than 250 grams take off weight, you need to register with CAA. If you haven't already done so, join BMFA.(This is essential to get the insurance). If your local club is BMFA affiliated they will help you.
