  • Walkera V120D01 with BF4I transmitter

Hello all, complete noob here, I picked the walkera V120D01 up off ebay and I have tried with out much success to hover, the heli keeps pulling in different directions, I have been trying to adjust the trim etc but it doesnt seem to make much difference. The heli I assume was setup correctly by the original owner (Maybe not?), the manuals for the heli or the transmitter don't go into much detail at all. Is there anything obvious I need to do? Is there anyway to turn on a setting on the transmitter to help with hovering?

The heli is suppose to be very stable and a capable indoor flyer, but I have done nothing but show how little control I am in, so far with no damage.

Any help or tips would be brilliant, I cant find very much on this heli online or the transmitter

    Thanks in advance

Good morning, In short, the V120D01 does not have any form of electronic auto leveling, and being a very small fixed pitch heli, it's going to be very twitchy. I'm not familiar with the Transmitter you have, but you should apply some expo to the aileron and elevator channels to make the heli less sensitive around middle stick. I'd strongly recomend taking a look at the rchelicopterfun.com website. Here you will find a wealth of information for people who are totally new to RC helicopters. I'd start with this article here:- https://www.rchelicopterfun.com/are-...rd-to-fly.html Good luck!!
