OW, I see you read it as swash made no difference, it's pitch that makes no diff. its not attached mate. Swash has to be 90 @ 1 servo.

Sorry, sounds like your probs are partly my fault, not clear enough. Sorry mate.
Don't be daft, I was grateful for your help and time.

I think with the sub trim, one way or another there's not one same make of heli out there the same.

I found minus 30 took hold of the throttle situ' but it was dead weak on the cyclic, after that everything went to shit even the battery's, beats the hell out of me, and it did quite literately.

I took the 450 out for some relaxing tail in, while sitting on my patio door, and then it got gusty, I landed and called it a day.

I adjusted the pot clockwise as it was turning to the left, now that's whacked the batt power out again f#cking thing.

Your kidding that easy! jeez, thanks bud', one thing Ron, with the power prob's, any ideas on that, as before the first bind all the batts were perfect, well everything was.

      Thanks mate.

PS, doe's it matter what way the bind plug goes in?

getting that skylift to work i dont doubt for a second john that was a feat of endurance mate

as for the cx its only the picture that is different all trims etc work as normal. my theory is simple is best!

OK things still aren't great, the nose rudder is drifting bad to the left OK I need to pot adjust that, I've just ran three batts through her, remembering I was getting 10-12 good minutes before the dx6i binding

The e-flite managed just under 3 mins before the off point and the electrolites done better but not there usual great with one just over 8 minutes the second just over 5 mins.

When I thought I'd cracked it I made a minute pot adjustment then the batt performance dropped like a rock, saying that it still wasn't up to par since you know what.

Would a bad trip cause this level of batt performance, or is it possibly somethings gone tits up in the 3in1 while trying to get it to work with that.

As before this little flyer worked fantastically with excellent flight durations, general flying, & within five minutes changing over the TX it's all gone to pot.

Situation: two different types of battery's being charged in 4 different charges or all batts one after another in the Blades charger now give around 50% less flight time than it used to, with trimming probs like I've never had before.

So its not the chargers as the Trex batts charge just fine.

Someone here must have an idea why this has happened?

I doesn't make sense at all!

Don't fiddle with the pot, use sub trim on the rudder to lose the yaw drift, it's quicker and easier.

I can't see why the tx would affect it at all mate, it's totally seperate. You say it crashed after you changed over? Could something in there be binding?

Thanks John, well I checked everything over and all seemed ship shape, no binding of the cogs, no bent shafts, all as it should be.

Yes I do the same, during a batt flight as she burns up the juice the torque changes and rudder trim always has to be add so to keep them true.

But this is beyond simple trim, I'm as confused as yourself, it doesn't make sense, four batts all with the same prob, all charged on different chargers and on each charger the same results seem to happen.

The Electrolites are far superior to the e-flite batts and have more balls, but eight minutes even for them is disappointing.

I can recommend them more mate, buy them for your Contras the power surge these puppy's have will blow your mind, they will almost super charge your CX2, and for £6 each!

That's what I mean mate, I always use sub-trim instead of the pot now, saves knocking the canopy off. have you tried Ron's suggestion to use it as acro instead of heli? See if that makes any difference. But I can't understand why your batts are taking such a hammering. Are they hotter than usual when they come off?

So it's confirmed, no one here can shed any light as to why this is happening.

Then I guess it's back to the shop time then.

That's why I ask if the batts are hotter than normal... If so it would indicate more power being drawn. What I can't work out is how it's possible for the tx to affect it.

there quite warm after the short flights I'm getting now almost like there had the usual flight times.

I think something gone belly up in the 3in1.
