  • Carbon Fiber Blades? Please help!

    Hey everyone,
I am a bit of a beginner, and have a hummingbird v4. I want to be able to fly it at the local park, but know that it is very vulnerable to wind. Would buying carbon fibre blades make it more stable in the wind?

    cheers!

if you want something that will fly more than 3 days a year outdoors then its time to move on,

blade400 is a good place to start and very good value for money.

Andy, I'm afraid it won't make any difference whatsoever - it's vunerability to wind is more to do with it's low weight than the type of blades.

You could infact argue that the CF blades would make it more susceptible to wind by virtue of lowing it's overall weight I'm afraid...
