  • Adjustments on 4in1 - help please

Making adjustments on the 4in1 Prop etc: Do you do it with power ON... or power OFF?

Buddy of mine has a hard left (on axis) turn he cannot trim out on the Tx and can't trim out on the 4in1. He's got good blades so there's no blade drag. I thought he had been turning the prop screw the wrong way as he says he's run out of adjustment. Anyway we've confused each other as to making the 4in1 adjustments as to, 'Power ON - or OFF.' My V-3 twitches fast to the left and right, not big moves, but it looks like me with a hangover!

Thanks guys, many cyber-brews to all of you! Hairy.

Adjust with power on, then disconnect and let the controller re-initialise for the adjustment to take effect. Then trial and error until you get it right!!
    Good luck

When you say hard left, I assume that you mean that the heli turns anticlockwise on its axis. In this case you may need a new tail motor rather than a 4 in 1 adjustment. Depends how long the heli has been flying, but tail motors don't last very long.

this is the lama v3?? if so there is no tail motor! as phil says make adjustments to proportional pot with power on the reboot!
