so a big thanks to timmy and busterboy for all there help

i am still buzzing from it now.

Yes I witnessed the event last night..

Well done Paul you flew it very nice and didnt even get in any bother.

          A nice controlled hover throughout..

Thats the biggest hurdle over with now its just progression to side on and forward flight.

What was more a point you failed to mention was the fact it was your T-Rex 600e you were flying, They can be quite intimidating for learning on but you did well mate..

Learning on a 600E? Well done mate. Although I do not have training under carraige on any of my helicopters, I certainly do not have the gutts to train on my 600E.

              Hats off to you.

can you take your hats of to me to lol? i also learnt on a trex 600e wel to be honest im still learning. I read somwere that trainin balls make the heli perform much diffrently than without so i opted to leave them.
congrats dougie !!! I know just how you are feeling I managed my first very steady hover last night and some nice forward flight.
one thing i am jelouse of is not having any experienced pilots to buddy with me when i first whirled her up! once again wel done!!!

I have to admit, toying with no balls myself.... I wanna see my shiny new heli as she's meant to look when I fly her the first time.

Congrats Dougie. I took my training gear off about a month ago and it felt so good. The other half was also impressed the heli came back in one piece lol.

Just in the process of building my 600 nitro up at the moment. Looks quite scary compared to my twister storm but can't wait to give it its maiden flight.

You will be surprised how much easier it is flying the 600 size heli compared to a 450 size heli.

Its just the intimidating feel of those rotors howling round and the sheer size of it that gets inside your head.

Take it from me there will be pictures from the next session..
