First boom strike :D

Managed 5 mins hovering today without hitting the ground! Decided to set the vidio up as what everyones said about the hovering just clicked... managed to keep it straight and 1-2 m off the ground!

Anyway after landing and setting the vid up i kinda lost it. Should of kept the vid running though, cos 2 mins later i hit forgot i was in idle up (was hovering previously in normal mode) and pulled the throttle down

Doesnt appear to be much damage, one screw in the bottom of the head that changes blade pitch seems to have dissapeered and was left dangling, the blades are chipped, and ill have to check the belt, i tightened it up today which seriously improved the flight.

Ah well im happy with the 5 mins i had in the air... now for a new heli... dont want to throw money at this one really

Well damage was... Swash base, main shaft, main gear, blades, and the tail blade grips felt loose so replaced!
Bought 2 heavier 2100 20c lipos today too, hopefully will weight it down a bit and may fly better.

Next on the list is a futaba HH gyro and the better tail servo...
