  • Phoenix - but not on a MAC: grrrr

    Anybody know or/recommend a sim that'll work on MAC?

    [sold my pc last week cos i just dont use it lol]

    Phoenix works on an Intel Mac assuming you have a copy of XP or similar...

      Bootcamp is the only way

      Because all the companies making sims are not Mac Friendly

      If I had the cash I'd try and license say Phoenix for the mac and have it converted to native OSX.

      I rarely use the sim as I have to reboot into XP and EVERYTHING else is in OSX its a royal pain in the a@se.

        Does it not work under Parallels or the other one? Saves the reboot then

        I'm on the point of getting a new iMac just so I can chuck my PC out then I can give this G4 to my wife and stop her moaning about the PC going tits up all the time

          You suffer a MASSIVE Performance hit with parallels and they suffer displaying
          PC heavy GFX stuff using Direct X9 etc....

          If you don't mind the last model of the 24" iMac then I'd recommend that model because the screen is stunning.

            A little brain faid im afraid guys - sorry.

            I have parallels so will use that: im gonna try my cheapo e-sky to see how it performs first.
