Thanks Matty, I shall try your suggestions and let you know. Hopefully I will be able to work out what you mean without having to pm you and take up your time. I will see how bad it is first. It might be that I can give it some right on the main rudder trim and then look at the setup with no time limit.

dont use any rudder trim at all. you slide the tail servo up or down the boom. i dont mind any pm's or invites to the chatroom from any1 and if i can help i will do so anytime mate

Thanks to watching the rudder setup video I have now managed to setup the heli in such a way that at a hover, the controller in totally hands free apart from countering any draft that knocks it about. I have no trim setup on the heli at all and everything is centeted. I feel like I have taken a step into a bigger world, at least I understand a little bit more about rudder setup.
