Yes it does. I used to fly the 3GX on my Pro. I'd be happy to help if i could but distance is an issue.

With a genuinely intuitive setup you don't need Freddy videos because the software itself tells you all you need to know in a simple to follow way.

The other tricky thing about the 3GX is that the default settings don't work very well on many helis, so you need to know the little tricks and tweaks to get them flying half decently. Also I'd advise not to update to V5 firmware in the 3GX. The gain values were turned way down in V5 and even with the adjustment pots maxed out i could never get enough head gain for larger helis. V4 was much better.
Oh I do no its a V2.0 lol
that bit I did find out
      Goooooooooooooooooooooooo Meeeeeeeeeeeeee lol

        How far is far
I don't mind a drive of say 70 ish miles each way
        seems my luck
when ever I want a plane its always the other side of the Uk
maybe its a shame the Trex was not then that way I might of not bothered :-/

Yeah, Shrewsbury to Aberdeen would be a bit of a trail

I'd recommend updating to firmware version 4.0, the firmware is available on the Align web site. As already noted the Freddy videos are pretty good, but it would still be a very good idea to get an experienced hand to look it over before committing aviation. It only takes one setting to be wrong for things to go very pear shaped.

I'm sure someone nearby will give you a hand, you've got a club local to you where a few members on here Rachel, Pulsar and Joe Bailey frequent. I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.
Dave is right you need to have ago and understand how it works, with the beastX I always did myself so understood it very well but I moved over to the brain and let my mate Jim set it up as he is very good with them and they fly great but down side is I don't fully understand the brain so struggle if I have to tinker myself now which is not good if your mate moves down south as you can't just nip over his for him to check its right.

                            Yes got it sorted thanks
I went along to the Stafford Club and they could not off been more helpful #
they between them got it all sorted and flying ( could not have a go my self then as I am old and mode 1 ) they are all 2 like most now
so had to swap my tx back over to 1 when I got home
I managed to get out Sunday and had 3 flights with it
had 3x7 min flights and did ok considering I haven't had a go in 18 years, all full flights with out stopping
so was well pleased with my self
think next time out will do some proper circuits with it as felt happy to be fair
She just wants to go I can tell that's for sure lol
weather I can keep up is a different matter but we will see
would just be nice to have someone local to go out with or shout if need a bit of help that's all
other than that all's good :-)

Well for now I wanted some help as all new to me
so I got help and I see no harm in that and no point struggling on my own when there is help out there or at least should be
I teach fixed wing and I can just about repair anything plane wise out there and I even build planes for people very often but I haven't had anything to do with a helicopter in 18 years so a lot has changed big time
one thing no laptops were about and needed just your eyes and a bit of tape on a blade to see if its high or low for tracking
like you say your not that keyed up on the brain that well and you fly and have flow unlike me
I have picked up a second hand 3GX to have a play with as was so cheap
so going to just have a play with that and maybe get a cheap 450 to sick it on and learn
or if I really get into them go over to a different setup that most use
time will tell but for now I am very great full that the guys and girls at the Staffordshire club took the time to go over and set it up for me so at least I have a fighting chance of having a go and not just binning it because I got something wrong in the setting as I don't have a clue what I am doing
I will struggle and have a go with the one I have just got and till I know what I am doing leave the one in the Trex alone :-)
