    hi guys . flying getting much better,had a 5 min good hover , i have noticed an electrical aroma from the controller though , is this normall , cheers ron.

      mmmm ??dunno?? electrical items smell nice when they are new(sweet like a new telly smell) but smell bad when they are going wrong(acrid like the hornby train smell).

      or am i just pished??

          Ok... Pieces on a heli capable of making a smell
          1. Battery. if its not puffed it probably aint the battery
          2. Speed controler. Does the speed increase in a linier fassion or is it jerky may have a fault if jerky if not it probably ok
          3. Raido. Can you still control all the servos on the model if yes its working ok
          4. Gyro. is the tail holding properly if yes its still working
          5. Servos. do they work PROPERLY then they are probably ok. check the tail servo supply voltage and rating these are mostly 4.8v and may get excited if you give them 6v they wont last long

          if you get here without finding a problem have your noze serviced its out of calibration..
