  • fitting shell/cotpit and fly bar help

hi guys am having probelms fitting the cotpit/shell to my x400 ark heli, the battery is like laid down on a bit that sticks out abit, if i try and put it on its tight against the battery and pulls the bits you clip the shell ontop forwards. any ideas ?

also flybar is that the part where the paddels are joined to had a little crash... eek one bent a tiny big managed to get it what looks like stright and now there seems to be alittle vibration - need a new fly bar ? would that make it handle pants?

    Thanks

Flybar....you can sometimes straighten them enough for it not to matter.

Sight along it both up & down and sideways. Check paddles are lined up with the flybar carrier & are equally 'flat' to each other. Thatis, in line with each other.

Check paddles are an equal distance from the centre.

On the canopy - my Trex batts do the same. Will the batt go any further backwards to avoid jamming it in the canopy?

it may go back abit i didnt really want the battery against the motor heat etc. you think it would matter having the shel against the battery ? not much in the way of cooling with a shell on.

      Thanks

No, the batt will be fine in the canopy. Shouldn't get too hot even close to the motor.

Main thing is to have the batt where the heli is best balanced. Put the batt in, fit the canopy and put the main blades front to back with flybar across the heli.

Lift heli using a couple of pencils under the flybar and it should balance, maybe slightly nose-down.

        Try it.
