  • Skyartec WASP X3V leaning over by about 10 degrees.

Hi guys, a total newbie and have lots to learn from the hundreds of experts out there so apologies if I am asking daft questions!

My Skyartec WASP X3V flybar-less heli permanently leans about 10 degrees to the right. I did have a couple of minor indoor accidents - main rotors slowed down a bit quickly when they touched the curtains. I had to replace the swag arm bearings, and other than the leaning problem, it seems to fly OK.

Can anyone suggest what could be causing the leaning?

In a hover, it leans to the right?

All helis (with clockwise rotating blades) do that. If they were level, they'd drift left because of the push from the tail rotor.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Yes - in a hover. I'm sure it used to fly much more 'level' before the minor incidents though?

It could be your swash links need adjusting? The swash is the part with 3 ball joints below the main rotor head. I would suggest taking the blades off put it on a level surface, power up and see if the swash is level. Maybe also fly out doors in long grass as when learning you always need more space to fly, and heli's always seem to be 'magnetically attracted' to inanimate objects in the living room (chairs, tables and curtains for example).
