Hi guys, anybody know the range of the blade 200srx? I was flying it today, it had a fresh battery in it, it got to about 65 meters away and 10meters up, (but I could still see it clearly) and literally dropped out of the sky.i thought it may have gone out of range, Any thoughts?

It's unlikely to be a range issue unless the batteries in your transmitter are almost on the way out. What TX do you have? If you have a DX6i or better there is a range-check function that you can use to verify the TX is working fine. If you're using the RTF (prepackaged) TX, just make sure your batteries are fully charged.
On the assumption that the TX is working fine, it may have been something coming loose on the heli itself (ie. battery connector).Tom

Is there any chance the battery could have gotten low? If you run the battery too far down they can get damaged, so most ESCs will shutdown as a safety feature. They should also shutdown if they lose signal from the radio / TX.
Also, where do you point the antenna on your TX? These are directional, and the signal is *weakest* in the direction the antenna points. If you had the antenna pointing straight towards the helicopter that could have caused it to lose signal at a distance. Had exactly this myself. Sent my esc and motor to horizon hobbies and explained this to them. They changed them both for free and haven't had a problem since.Blade 200 SRX with bliiingComment
